Involving young people and communities in media and arts activity is an effective way of   engaging local communities,  exploring cultural identity, bridging  cultural divides and encouraging mutual understanding. 

For example, we are currently involved in coordinating, developing, and fundraising for, aGender Arts and Education. This new Hasting's-based charity aims to use creative activities to encourage young people 8-21 to explore personal, social, health and relationship issues including gender and related stereotyping.
